FAN (Finpolar Academic Network ) is a working group (WG) under Finpolar Association (finpolar.fi). The current eight members are mostly academics who had migrated to Finland on a mandatory basis and whose careers were disrupted.
Our goal;
Creating an environment in which people who want to pursue an academic career in Finland can share information and thus enable peer support to bridge their disruption with new circumstances in Finland and create a support environment via English or Finnish Lessons, speech clubs, and book reading environments and to encourage each other in scientific studies with motivational programs. It is to announce and remind activities such as scientific conferences, seminars, symposiums, job opportunities and etc. FAN is open to anyone who wishes to contribute to and benefit from the group.
