HELSINKI, Finland – Last night, a unique and transformative event took place as Iftar Helsinki 2026 brought together a diverse community to build new bridges, deepen long-standing friendships, and share a meaningful meal at a common table. Organized with the spirit of unity, the evening was a powerful testament to the strength of cross-cultural dialogue.
The event, held at Hämeenkylä School, was filled with significant moments that highlighted the importance of togetherness in modern society.
Distinguished Greetings and Leadership
The evening commenced with warm and hopeful messages from local leaders. Daniel Sazonov, Deputy Mayor of Helsinki, and Pasi Majasaari, Principal of Hämeenkylä School, both shared greetings that emphasized the vital role of community spirit and social cohesion.
Adding to the international and local warmth, Sakari Rokkanen, Chairman of the Vantaa City Council, delivered an embracing speech focused on the active construction of “bridges” between different cultures and backgrounds.
