YOUTH OPEN MICROPHONE 2 – World Village Festival

In this second episode of the Youth Open Microphone (Nuorten Avoin Mikrofoni) series, we take you to the World Village Festival (Maailma kylässä -festivaali).

Young participants and visitors share their perspectives on sense of belonging, creating inclusive communities, artistic expression, active citizenship, and standing strong against disinformation.

In this episode, key topics include:

  • Sense of Belonging & Community: How young people can build supportive peer networks and safe havens.

  • Dialogue & Art: The power of art, music, and film in reshaping public discourse and bridging social divides.

  • Navigating Disinformation: Staying calm and finding creative ways to advocate for democracy and freedom.

 

“Nuorten Avoin Mikrofoni” (Youth Open Microphone) is a youth participation project carried out by the Together Platform, a working group under FIN POLAR Kulttuurikeskus ry. This project is funded by the European Union through the European Solidarity Corps (managed in Finland via the Finnish National Agency for Education – OPH).
