Yesterday, we said goodbye to the blessed month of Ramadan, and today, we embrace the holiday with the fresh breath of spring.
It is a profound feeling that turns a foreign land into a home and bridges distances through the unity of hearts: Eid. This morning in Helsinki, our hearts beat with the same intention as we gathered in a grand hall. We performed our Eid prayer and offered our prayers for the oppressed across the world, and for global peace and tranquility.
The massive circle of greetings we formed after the prayer was not just a joining of hands, but a bonding of souls. đ€
And, of course, our children… The pure joy in their eyes and their happiness, crowned with Eid gifts and sweets, were the greatest holiday presents for us all.
As the Finpolar family, we are deeply grateful to pass these beautiful traditions on to our children and to be part of such a vast family here in Finland. We wish for this Eid to bring mercy, justice, and lasting peace to all of humanity.
Eid Mubarak to everyone!
